Reminder:
- the $30 fee is due by April 11.
- If you are purchasing a shirt, cost is $20, also due by April 11. We have a couple of shirts in certain sizes that have been donated from last year's players. If you would like one of these instead of buying one, let me know. First Come, First Serve.

We have Tenatively Scheduled TWO Pre-season practices (weather and field conditions permitting):
o Sat, April 11 – 9:00 a.m.
o Sat, April 18 – 9:00 a.m.

Please let me know whether or not you plan to attend these. If we can’t get a decent turnout, we can cancel or re-schedule.

Game 5 report

Having a week and a half off definitely hurt us. We started out the game by giving up 11 unearned runs as nearly every member of the team made an error. After that, we settled down and did ok for a couple of innings, but then gave up 14 more in the 4th. Our bats finally woke up in the 6th and we managed to score enough runs in the 6th and 7th innings to make it somewhat more respectable, but this one was never close. Final score 32-9.

On the Bright side - the commissioner of the league was the other team's pitcher for the first six inning. He was very complimentary of our attitude and deportment throughout the game despite the fact that it was obviously a very frustrating evening for us. He said in that area we were the best team he's seen all year. He also complimented our uniforms :)

Highlights:
Arik - 4 for 4 with 2 RBI
Eric - 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 runs scored and an RBI
Larry - 2 for 2 with 2 RBI

I had a single in the 6'th with an RBI and a single in the 7'th with an RBI.

Actually one of those singles turned into a double because of an error at 1'st base
